Kileen Marshall worked as a fundraiser (with a focus on major gifts) for over 16 years and started her consulting firm, Kileen H Marshall Consulting, in summer 2023. She previously spent 11 years as the Director of Philanthropy with the ACLU of Montana, where she led the efforts to grow the fundraising program from $200k to $1.4M and quintupled the planned giving pipeline from $2M to $10M in future bequest intentions. Her work as a consultant has helped non-profits of all sizes -- ranging from start-up orgs with an annual budget under $250k to national organizations at $20M+ annual expenses -- to create or grow their major gifts programs and raise more sustainable dollars. Her focus is on driving immediate action rather than producing shiny consultant reports. Additionally, she is growing a philanthropic advising business to help donors think more deeply about their giving and how they might best make an impact that reflects their values now rather than passing those decisions onto others.
